on the 19th the school held a photography workshop in colaboration with phase one and profoto - high end camera gear and studio equipment producers (world leaders) … so i got a chance to toy around with the best gear there is…

… so is started shooting with my new film camera … the film i put in is at least 25 years old … so i didn’t know what to expect… it turns out that the film is even worse than my expectations and after i scaned it i kinda got some knowledge about how to use it… the film has absolutely nothing written on it… so i have no idea about the type… and is even less sensitive than i originaly thought… and it is no good for bad lighting conditions or even medium lighting… which is mostly what it shot (cloudy weather/rain/fog/late afternoon) … so … i guess i’ll have to shoot it only in sunlight or bright light… anyway… now that i have some idea about how it reacts… i can better use it… (got alot of it)…
so this is what came out…
… so i’ve been “offline” since august… since i got my job for the advertising agency in brasov i’ve had 0 time to do anything else… so basicly no time for photos, other than the work-related one’s… so last friday was my last day… and i’ve moved back to bucharest to catch up on school (skipped 2 months) and “get up an goin’ ” again… moved into a new apartment which is smack in the middle of bucharest, 2 minutes away from my school… which is great…
… my ex-job has brought a few things along including my new nikon F100 camera (film)… which i’ll be using from now on for non-comissioned photos and leave my digital camera only for money-making action… soo… my blog will pretty soon start “losing” posts containing digital shots and will eventualy contain only film shots…
in the meantinme… gotta catch up on 2 months of school… yey…
… came home from bucharest… finally… the heat was unbearable… finished second semester … didn’t fail any exam… so it’s all good…

a few photos of the “George Cosbuc” marketplace which is behind the “Romanian Academy” main building next to the huge “Peoples House” … so its pretty much in the centre of Bucharest… and the entire area looks like a war zone conveniently hidden behind a few big buildings…
